Kaal starts from your birth date, local time and place. It works out your Kundli exactly, the classical way (sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses): your Lagna, the nine grahas, the twelve houses and your nakshatra. Nothing is guessed. That is why your birth time matters.
2. Your dasha periods
