Introduction

The Kaalera API lets your product ask Kaal, Kaalera's AI astrologer, questions about a person's future and get back a written, explained answer.

What Kaal does

When you create a consultation, Kaalera computes the Kundli from the date, time and place of birth, then Kaal reads it and answers the question. Every answer shows its working: the planets, houses, dashas and transits behind it, plus the timing windows that matter.

• AI trained by a 7,000-year-old lineage of Kashmiri Himalayan monks, reading classical sidereal Jyotish.
• Planet positions cast to the arc-second for the exact birth time and place.
• Vimshottari dasha periods and upcoming transits of the slow planets.
• Answers in nine languages, including Hindi and Hinglish.

How it works

1. Create a consultation

   Send the birth details and a first question to POST /v1/consultations. This costs $9.

2. Poll for the answer

   Kaal usually answers within a few minutes. Poll GET /v1/consultations/:id until a message with role: "kaal" appears.

3. Ask follow-ups

   Ask more questions in the same consultation with POST /v1/consultations/:id/questions for $6.30 each. Kaal remembers the Kundli and the earlier answers. Consultations stay open for 7 days.
